Bugging Trump: Again the media is missing the mark

President Trump blasted a tweet Saturday morning accusing Barack Obama of bugging Trump in Trump Tower. This is a very strong statement. If true, this would blow past Watergate for presidential corruption. That scandal brought down the presidency of Richard Nixon.

Of course the media has jumped all over this. That is what they're supposed to do. But much of the media attention is focused on how outrageous Trump's claim is. Real reporters would be investigating the accusation to determine if it's true or not. That cannot be completed in a weekend.  It would involve actual work, which many in the media try to avoid. Yes, there are a handful of reporters who are digging to find the truth, but the overall message from the media is outrage at such an insane allegation.

Real reporting is dying a slow, agonizing death.

Of course the overwhelming anti-Trump bias of the media is driving this diversion. Edward R. Murrow is spinning in his grave.

Trump said he'd run the country as a business, and he is!

Politicians running for office too often say whatever you want to hear. All many of them care about at that time is getting elected or re-elected. I once ran for office against someone like that. I knew this person and I knew his politics. But once we hit the trail, he suddenly changed. Some of his new positions were 180° opposite of what he really believed. So one day I asked him what was up with his new positions. He said he had taken advice from a career bureaucrat, whom I also knew. The advice was he can't change the world if he doesn't get elected, and he was willing to lie to the voters to get there. That just wasn't my style.

Americans were getting tired of the crap in Washington. Barrack Obama was a continuous train wreck. Republicans ran several good candidates for President, but voters had become so jaded, they all appeared alike to them. And then there was Donald Trump.

The Donald was a successful businessman and not a politician. As a developer, he had a reputation for getting things done.

BINGO!

He was what Americans were waiting for. Not a politician, Trump was a successful businessman, experienced in running a large, prosperous organization. Including running it efficiently, without excessive waste. I spent 10 years working for a municipal government, and trust me, waste is embedded in all levels of government.

Trump wants to Make America Great Again. Not losing jobs to other countries. Not strangling businesses with excessive regulations. Repair our healthcare system that Democrats destroyed. No more throwing away money at the man-made climate change hoax. Get people good full-time jobs, not low-paying part-time jobs that had become so common. Stop the corruption and stop bypassing congress and issuing illegal executive orders,

In other words, drain the swamp.

Expect Trump to be quick and decisive. Don't look for him to telegraph his moves. He is a businessman and will act like one, so much as government allows. Businessmen get rid of cancers, so disloyal employees better get their resumes updated. It's no different than being a head coach of a professional sports team. If any players are not supportive of the coach, they have to go.

This is what the voters wanted. And it's what they are getting.

Liberal media wanted Trump to investigate, so he's gonna do it and liberal heads explode

It is commonly known that the overwhelming majority of voter fraud is propagated by the Democrat Party. They must not believe they can win elections fair and square. The Project Veritas videos and John Podesta leaving his emails unguarded was an eye-opener to those who were still skeptical of Democrat cheating.

Running up to the election, there were some governors and mayors who encouraged illegal aliens, who are not U.S. citizens, to vote. These governors and mayors were all far left-wing progressives who have no respect for the rule of law. 2016 was not the first election in which illegals voted.

According to a study by Old Dominion University professors Jesse Richman and David Earnest, up to 2.8 million non-citizens voted in the 2008 presidential election. This study was published in 2014 in the Electoral Studies journal.

According to The Daily Caller, Harvard political scientist Stephen Ansolabehere said "the likely percent of non-citizen voters in recent U.S. elections is zero."

This guy must be on heroin. Zero? Really? Remember, this is the esteemed institution that employs fake Indian Elizabeth Warren. Harvard is a volcano of kooks.

Then, just before the 2016 election, Virginia Democrat Governor Terry McAuliffe released 60,000 felons from prison and restored their right to vote. Hillary Clinton handily won the state.

Donald Trump easily won the election, although Hillary had more raw votes. California alone gave Hillary the raw vote win. That is why there is an Electoral College. So during Trump's second full day, the liberal media climbed all over spokesman Sean Spicer about Trump's claim that a few million non-citizens voted in the election. They asked why the President isn't trying to prove his comment, which the liberals do not believe.

So Trump said he will investigate and determine how many illegal votes were cast. So now Democrats are whining about how the election is state-controlled, and Trump has no jurisdiction. Never mind that on his way out the door, Barrack Obama illegally federalized the Presidential election.

Of course states that encouraged illegals to vote aren't going to investigate illegals and other non-citizens voting. The lawless Democrat governors of those states do not believe they did anything wrong. After all, Democrats must win elections!

In order to root these problems out, the feds must go in and determine what happened in the latest election. Cheaters are very opposed to this. The left doesn't want the truth to come out. That is why this must be investigated.

Democrats Still Don't Get It

Donald J. Trump is now President of the United States. So what's next for the Democrat party? Do they bounce back as political parties inevitably do, or does the party disappear into history? This is a valid question based on the decimation of the party during the Obama Administration and Democrat's reaction to their massive defeats.

Leading Democrats think Trump's victory was a fluke. They have produced all kinds of crazy excuses as to why Hillary Clinton lost. The latest justification is that the Russians somehow helped Trump get elected.

Democrats spend much time separated from reality. What about reports that Hillary was helped by Ukraine and German Chancellor Angela Merkel? I guess it's only bad if it helps Republicans.

The first obvious reason for Trump's win is the fact that Hillary is a lying, corrupt criminal. John Podesta made the password for his email "password." Yes, the man responsible for running Hillary's campaign is really that stupid. Half of the planet probably hacked his emails, so nobody knows who WikiLeaks got his emails from. What matters is that emails were exposed, they were accurate, and they proved many things, including corruption by both Hillary and the media.

Another reason for Trump's win was the complete and total failure and corruption of the Obama administration. Working-class Americans (that's most of us), were sick and tired of failed liberal crap. Obamacare took away meaningful health insurance coverage for millions of Americans, created the 29-hour workweek for million of Americans, drastically reducing their pay, and cost Americans their doctors and insurance plans, things Obama said would not happen.

Obama's Attorneys General were corrupt. He released POW's so they could return to the battlefield to kill Americans and our allies. And the list goes on and on and on. Americans down on the farm, the factories and the unemployed had had enough.

Another failure of the left was sticking to their tried and true strategy: identity politics. Blacks will vote for the Democrat. Hispanics will vote for the Democrat. Jews will vote for the Democrat. People in Midwest industrial states like Michigan and Wisconsin will vote for the Democrat. So Hillary ignored all of these people. Mistake. Instead, the Democrats focused on women and Florida, and to hell with everyone else.

Just to be sure, Hillary spent over $1 billion to get herself elected. After all, in politics money equals win.

Hold the phone.

Social media is where it's at these days. And that doesn't take dump trucks full of money. Social media takes expertise. And Trump followed the traditional Republican approach. Help all people, not buckets full of people. Times are changing, and Democrats are getting left behind.

So you're thinking, change! That would be the smart thing to do, and there are Democrats who get it. But they have been pushed down by the elites and remain a powerless minority. Such as Ohio's Tim Ryan. Democrats missed a huge opportunity when they failed to make Ryan their House leader.

Instead, they re-elected 76-year-old Nancy Pelosi, who usually sounds like she is in need of a dementia test. She is in complete denial. She believes Trump's win was a fluke assisted by the Russians. Or James Comey. Or Wikileaks. Or fake news. Or trash publications at checkout lines. The Electoral College (everyone knew the rules going in. They haven't changed since 1788). Or whatever lame excuse the left can come up with.

But there is a problem with all of those excuses. It wasn't just Hillary. Democrats got slaughtered all over the country. Liberalism and socialism, the fundamental beliefs of the Democrat Party, have failed worldwide whenever it has been tried. Barrack Obama is a classic example of why liberalism and socialism does not fit under our Constitution. Countless times Obama took the lazy way out and bypassed congress to make laws himself. That is what dictators do. Fortunately, most of that will be undone this week. Our Constitution will be followed.

In recent years, Democrats have lost both houses of congress, the oval office, 1000 state legislative seats and 12 governorship's. 68 of the nation's 98 partisan state legislatures are Republican. So tell me again about the Russians.

So the left has responded to this with riots. They're burning cars and smashing windows. Madonna said she is seriously thinking about burning down the White House. Would that mean Trump would no longer be President? Yes, people are that stupid.

So the Democrat Party will cling to their identity politics, their elites and their mobs. R.I.P.

Hillary Clinton lost because of Hillary Clinton. Period

President Obama has decided to sanction Russia not because they influenced our presidential election (because they didn't), but because the Russians have practiced years of unscrupulous cyber activity. Much of the media is not reporting this correctly. Fake news.

I'm sure the Russians are cyber-attacking us everyday. I presume we are cyber-attacking Russia everyday. We know Obama likes to listen to Angela Merkel's cellphone.

Democrats are still trying to come up with why Hillary Clinton lost. It wasn't because of Russia. Or James Comey. Or Julian Assange. Or the media. It wasn't fake news. It wasn't people misreading their Facebook feeds. It wasn't The Onion. It wasn't rigged voting machines and it wasn't a rigged Electoral College.

Hillary Clinton lost because she is a lying, corrupt criminal. Period.

The corrupt left-wing media (that has now been proven, too) is lying to you when they say Russia influenced the election. Repeat - they did not.

Democrats have turned America into a political sewer. The DNC fixing the primaries and the Project Veritas videos proves it. Of course Obama and Hillary are both truth-challenged, so they will never admit that. They will always try to blame somebody else.

So what exactly did the Russians supposedly do?

Hillary Clinton will never take responsibility for losing the election. She has and will continue to blame everyone under the sun for her losing, because dammit, she's supposed to be President. She won't consider her lies, massive corruption, her lack of trustworthiness, her outdated, failed liberal proposals, pay for play, perjuring herself before congress and a bevy of other faults she has. It had to be somebody else.

The latest target: Vladimir Putin. The CIA states Russia did indeed interfere with our election. But how? Details and proof have not been divulged.

Progressive kook Jill Stein thinks floppy disks were inserted into voting machines, changing votes.

Did she say floppy disks? Hello Jill, this is 1990 calling. I'm pretty certain there wasn't any Russians going from polling place to polling place inserting a floppy disk into the voting machines. Where in the hell would you insert it? Is this like hacking gas pumps?

So just what supposedly happened? Putin says he had nothing to do with it. OK, maybe he's not the most honest witness. Are the liberals talking about the emails? Julian Assange swears Russia was not the source of the emails. It was a DNC member in Washington. Assange does not have a history of equivocating. Are we going to get sucked into World War III because of Hillary Clinton?

The biggest problem for the left is that the emails are true. We, the American Voter, are entitled to know these things. If Hillary wanted to win, she shouldn't have been so corrupt. She shouldn't have lied so much. She shouldn't have perjured herself before congress, and have a party afterword to boot. She shouldn't have had an unsecured server in her basement, then sent and received classified information through that server. She shouldn't have had a career of failure dating back to her firing from the Watergate Committee because of dishonesty. She shouldn't have shared classified information with unauthorized personnel.  She should have campaigned in the blue collar states in the middle of the country that were assumed to be blue. Blah blah blah...

The Russians had nothing to do with any of this. Hillary lost because she was a bad, corrupt candidate. She lost to a candidate who out-hustled her. Donald Trump understands how the farmer in Wisconsin and the factory worker in Michigan are being crushed by President Obama. Hillary is an elitist who thinks she is entitled to be President.

Well, no she's not.

Yes, I am concerned if a foreign country is meddling in our elections, just like Israel was pissed when Obama meddled in theirs. But the most corrupt administration in U.S. history claims Russia somehow interfered with our election, but show no proof. Obama originally said Russia was not involved in our election, now he claims they were.

Why Hillary Lost

If you wanted to win Hillary, you shouldn't have been a lying, corrupt criminal. That creep Podesta shouldn't have sent all those emails. You shouldn't have used an unsecured server in your basement to handle classified emails. You should have listened to the President and stayed the hell away from Sydney Blumenthal. You shouldn't have repeatedly lied to the American people and perjured yourself in front of congress. Your constant whining and blaming of others proves the American voters made the right decision. 

I swear to God, if Hillary...

...was walking down the street during a rally and pulled a hand grenade out of her pantsuit, pulled the pin and lobbed it into a crowd and a dozen people are killed, Loretta Lynch would look the other way and say 'nothing to see here.' Why not? Hillary already has the blood of thousands on her corrupt little hands.

This woman can do NOTHING to get indicted by the Obama administration. I don't need to reset everything here. RedState readers are fully aware of the corruption, which has trickled down to the Department of Justice, the FBI, the State Department, the IRS and who knows where else. So now we learn the DOJ has declined the FBI's request to investigate the corrupt as hell Clinton Foundation. The only way they could make it more obvious is if they came out and said, 'Yes, we are corrupt and we're getting away with it'.

I blame the Republican majority in congress for doing NOTHING to stop this monster in the White House. Obama could have been impeached for any number of things, not the least of which is treason. Obama released POW's to the battlefield so they can kill Americans and our allies. The penalty for treason is death.

But since the congressional Republicans have sat on their hands, Obama sees a green light. He knows he will not be challenged, so the corruption gets worse and worse. And trust me, he's not done yet.

The mainstream media is a co-conspirator with House Republicans. I've been watching CNN lately, and their spin is beyond belief. No matter what Hillary says or does, CNN stays focused on what Trump said. DOJ refuses to investigate the Clinton Foundation, and they obsessively focus on Trump. The Donald says maybe 2nd Amendment supporters will be enough to keep Hillary out of the White House so she cannot appoint any Supreme Court Justices, and before you know it, Trump was endorsing violence and possible assassination!

Where in the hell did that come from? Seriously, where does that crap come from? Comprehension is a major part of journalism and communications, yet the media has no ability to understand words. For crying out loud, they blamed Sarah Palin for Gabby Giffords getting shot, because Palin had an image of a cross-hair in an ad. You can't make this stuff up.

I don't know if it's a mental health issue or what, but the wild claims coming from the left and their media buddies are preposterous.

Jim Cooper is a complete moron

Tennessee congressman Jim Cooper was on Nashville TV today whining about Tennessee's excellent Voter ID law. He spewed the usual liberal garbage about discriminating against the "poor and the downtrodden." He said if Tennessee doesn't repeal the law, the courts will.

Memo to Cooper: We elect state legislators to take care of Tennessee business. You just stick to doing a bad job in Washington. That's what you're good at.

Tennessee has a primary for local and state offices this week. Cooper complains that early voting numbers for this election is way down from March.

That March ballot included what was then two hotly contested presidential races. Turnout was good. I have the ballot for this week's election, and there is nothing for me to vote for. The races are either uncontested or involve candidates I am unfamiliar with. I do not vote in races and for issues I know little or nothing about. I am a political junkie. I consider myself to be a high-information voter, so if I don't know anything about it, I'm not going there. I would gladly go and vote a Democrat ballot if someone was running against Cooper, but alas, he has no opponent.

If requiring a Photo ID is discriminatory against the poor and the downtrodden, then why isn't Cooper and his liberal buddies fighting against discrimination in the airline industry, the medical profession, the alcohol industry (discrimination that is required by most states), the Democrat and Republican parties, Michelle Obama book signings, Amtrak, retail stores, banks, FedEx and UPS, unions, Hillary Clinton, and dozens and dozens of other places?

Get over it Cooper. Democrats hate Voter ID because it makes it harder for them to cheat. Recent events have again proven Democrats have cheating embedded into their core. Please explain to us Cooper, all of the precincts that had a turnout greater than 100% four years ago.

The lame response from Democrats is that fraud at the ballot box rarely happens, so if it isn't broke, don't fix it. But how would anyone know? This crime is almost impossible to detect. Really, it is the perfect voter fraud. Check out the obituaries for someone who recently died, then go vote. And vote, and vote...

Interesting fact: Four years ago Obama won every state without Voter ID, and lost every state that required Voter ID. Just a coincidence? I think not.

Democrats again ignoring Hillary and the law

As Attorney General Loretta Lynch continues her sworn testimony before the House Judiciary Committee, the Democrat's strategy is clear.

While Republicans are asking probing questions trying to learn why Lynch came to the conclusion that Hillary should not be indicted, despite the law clearly indicating she should be indicted, Democrats are discussing the following:

• Attacking Republicans
• Attacking the NRA
• Racist Police
• Gun Control
• BMI/ASCAP
• Anything but Hillary

Once again, Democrats are making a congressional hearing a sham while Republicans are doing the heavy lifting.
